WHAT’S NEW IN 2025

    • Bagels R Us: Hole-in-One Breakfast 
      Fuel up with fresh bagels from Bagels R Us, a perfect breakfast before you hit the course. 
       
    • Carolina Jax 
      Known for their award-winning burgers, Carolina Jax is bringing their irresistible creations to THE PLAYERS.  
       
    • Fan Viewing PLatform at Hole 10/11 
      Responding to fan feedback, we’ve brought back fan seating at Hole 10/11! Thanks to Mayo Clinic, this new platform is the perfect place to congregate, cheer, and enjoy the action. 
       
    • Fiesta on 12 with Tacos and Tequila 
      TacoLu is back and bringing their fan-favorite tacos to Hole 12, now joined by Maestro Dobel Tequila! Enjoy the perfect pairing of fresh tacos and smooth tequila, all while taking in the exciting action on the course.

    • Grand opening of PGA TOUR Studios and debut of World Feed 
      A new era of coverage begins with the launch of PGA TOUR Studios and the debut of the World Feed. This dedicated feed will provide localized, internationally relevant content for global media partners. The World Feed is a step toward more personalized coverage with native-language announcers and graphics, enhancing the international fan experience. 
       
    • Creator Classic: Where Content Meets Competition 
      Following its success at the TOUR Championship, the Creator Classic returns to THE PLAYERS Championship! Top social media creators will compete in a nine-hole event at TPC Sawgrass. The competition features eight holes of gross stroke play, followed by a playoff between the top four finishers.

Friday, March 7

  • 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.: The PGA TOUR Fan Shop is open to the public.

Saturday, March 8

  • 10 a.m.-2 p.m.- Military Job Fair (see Community page for more information)  
  • 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.: The PGA TOUR Fan Shop is open to the public.

Sunday, March 9

  • 12 p.m. – 1:30  p.m. – Operation Shower (see Community page for more information)  
  • 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.: The PGA TOUR Fan Shop is open to the public.

Monday, March 10

  • Practice Day for professionals 
  • Course closed to the public 
  • THE PLAYERS Onesie Program: Every baby born in Northeast Florida during the entire week of THE PLAYERS receives a special onesie provided by THE PLAYERS.  

Tuesday, March 11 – Military Appreciation Day 

  • Entries open at 7:30 a.m. 
  • Practice Day for professionals  
  • 4:30 p.m.: Military Appreciation Day Ceremony begins  
  • 5:00 p.m.: Military Appreciation Concert 

Wednesday, March 12

  • Entries open at 7:30 a.m. 
  • Practice Day for professionals  
  • All day: THE PLAYERS Championship Caddie Competition in Memory of Bruce Edwards presented by Knockaround – Closest to the pin competition at the 17th hole amongst all of the caddies. 
  • 9:30 a.m.-11:00 a.m.: “These Kids Can Play” (see Community page for more information)  
  • 9:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m.: Dream Day at THE PLAYERS; (see Community page for more information)  
  • 8:00 a.m.-10 a.m.: THE PLAYERS First-timers press conference – Media have the opportunity to interview the PGA TOUR players who are participating at THE PLAYERS Championship for the first time.   
  • Time TBD: Creator Classic

Thursday, March 13

  • Entries open at 7:30 a.m. 
  • First round of competition begins at 7:40 a.m. 

Friday, March 14

  • Entries open at 7:30 a.m.  
  • Second round of competition begins at 7:40 a.m. 

Saturday, March 15

  • Entries open at 7:30 a.m. 
  • Third round of competition begins at approximately 8:15 a.m., depending on the size of the cut (twosomes off No.1) 

Championship Sunday, March 16 

  • Entries open at 7:30 a.m. 
  • Final round of competition begins at approximately 7:33 a.m., depending on size of the cut (twosomes off No.1)
