Each year, THE PLAYERS Championship hosts a variety of events and activities that seek to generate greater awareness and support for organizations and communities in the five-county area. This year is no exception as THE PLAYERS is partnering with its Proud Partner, Optum, to host a panel discussion Place Matters: Understanding Conditions that Influence Health. Live streamed from TPC Sawgrass, the virtual panel presentation will feature area health care leaders championing efforts being led to address health disparities in northeast Florida.

According to rankings conducted by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, St. Johns County ranks first in the state of Florida for quality health outcomes, a leadership position it has maintained for nine consecutive years. Duval County is ranked at 45; Baker trails at 49; Nassau is ranked 33rd; and Clay is 27th.
